The following “on-site” volunteer postions are open at our National office located at our MVP Sanctuary property in Coryell county near area known as King Country.  Commitee members are required to be “on-site” at least once a month for a monthly committee meeting.

Admin Assistants (3-4 volunteers)

  1. Assist Operations Director or National CEO
  2. Reports to National CEO or designated representative
  3. Coordinating mail outs
  4. On-site 3 days a week (minimum 4 hours per day)
  5.  Office Admin experience/knowledge helpful
  6. MS office word/excel/desktop publishing knowledge/experience needed
Bookkeeping/Accounting 
  1. Quickbook entries
  2. Working knowledge in Quickbooks
  3. Knowledge/experience with nonprofit and fund accounting
  4. Time “on-site” average 10 hours per week

Property Maintenance Team Leader

  1. Determine with CEO required groundsmaintenance schedule
  2. Lead volunteers
  3. 2 weekends per month (5-6 hours each time)
  4. Ground maintenance experience/knowledge helpful
  5. Commitment 3- 6 months

Property Maintenance Crew(4 – 5 volunteers)

  1. Perform various grounds maintenance
  2. 2 weekends per month (5-6 hours each time)

Fundraising Committee (minimum 5 volunteers) – Committee (chairperson and 4 members) responsible for developing a plan of action related to raising the funds required for our organization and funds needed to make the TX MVP Sanctuary project a reality.

  1. Works with the Event committee as a coordinated effort between the committees.
  2. Committee Chair – On-Site – 1 day per month (2 – 3 hours) for committee meeting with CEO
  3. Committee Off-Site – average 20 –25 hours per month

Event Committee(5 volunteers) – Committee (chairperson and 4 members) responsible for developing and implementing an action plan for participating in events held in and around the Killeen/Fort Hood area and “on-site” fundraising events (minimum 2 per year) at the MVP Sanctuary for raising awareness and funds for the organization’s programs and the TX MVP Sanctuary project

  1. Works with the Fundraising committees as a coordinated effort between the committees.
  2. Committee Chair – On-Site – 1 dayper month (2 – 3 hours) for committee meeting with Project Director
  3. Committee Off-Site – average 20 –25 hours per month
