Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet like many "All Volunteer" 501c3 nonprofit organizations are only able to operate and accomplish its mission due to the generosity, time, and energy provided by those who wish to make a difference in our society. Consider being a volunteer to help support our military, veterans, and their beloved pets.

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Desire to support our Troops
    (personal opinion about the war should not affect your ability to support our Military)
  • Have the time, energy, and ability to perform the responsibilities of the volunteer role you commit to with our organization
  • Agree to follow and adhere to OPSEC guidelines in protecting confidential information that may be shared with you

General Volunteer Information:

 

Current State Management Team Volunteer Opportunities:

Directors: The State Director acts as the liaison between their respective state and Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet by building and leading a volunteer management. 

Administrative Assistant: Assists the State Director with the various administration work involved with running the state management team.

Foster Home Coordinators: Responsible for assisting a Military Service Member in recommending a potential foster home which closely emulates the pet(s) living environment and acting as the liaison between the Military Service Member and the agreed to foster home.

Foster Home Interviewers:  Interviews potential foster home caregivers.

Communications CoordinatorsActs as the primary contact with local media and military public affairs offices with their state by developing and maintaining a working relationship with them.  Also educates the civilian and military communities about who we are, what we do, and how we do it.

Community Outreach Liaison: Acts the event coordinator for the organization at various events within the state. They also interact with businesses and other organizations that wish to have fundraisers on behalf of the organization.

Pet Transport Coordinator:  Involved with coordinating needed pet transport within their state and assisting the National Pet Transport Director organizing a pet transport across multiple states.
